Myoukenjima is an island off the coast of Higashi-kasai (Edogawa-ku) in the Edogawa River.

Unveiling of the "1000 Sakura Project Monument"

the "1000 Sakura Project" is a project aimed to revitalize the Shinkawa River and its surroundings. 1000 sakura trees will be planted alongside the river. I predict this area will one day become a popular place to celebrate hanami in Tokyo-or at least become a popular spot for pictures. Also, many Edo period bridges are currently being built (one was officially inaugurated in the video).

今年の花見は終りました。花見のビデオを３本作る予定でしたが、
時間がなくて１つしか作れませんでした。
こちらが、古川親水公園のビデオです。これは満開のほんの少し前の映像です。

Hanami 2009

It's hanami season, I'm so excited! This is a video I made last year; it's hanami 2008 in Edogawa-ku. I will make a new video this year if I have time. I want to relax and enjoy the view of sakura trees!

平和への希求 / Heiwa eno kikyu

Recreation koen stretches from Nishi-kasai station all the way to the Edogawa River, next to Nagisa Newtown in Minami-kasai.



The Rainbow Square can be found next to the Edogawa Baseball Stadium. There is a fascinating monument dedicated to peace called "Heiwa eno kikyu" 平和への希求
